Trip length: 15 (16 if alternative drive) days

Accommodation:15(16) days in hotels, guest-houses, base camps

Activities: drive in asphalt and rough road in elevation from 800 up to 4300 m with one day easy hike in elevation 3200 to 4000 m

Transportation: 4 WD jeeps or vans

Food: 3 hot meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Highlights: Visiting most exciting historical spots of Tajikistan: Ruins of old Panjikent, Wakhan Way of The Silk Route (ruins of antient castles and forts), superb overview of Hindukush and Eastern Pamir Mountains, best thermal springs of Pamirs, Lake Karakul, famous Osh market and Marco Polo sheep watching

Day 1: Arrival, meeting and transfer to hotel / Hotel

Day 2: Dushanbe. Visit Hissar fortress (7-20 cr.AC), and National museum of Antiquities.

Day 3: Drive Dushanbe - Kalai-Khumb.

Day 4: Drive to Khorog, center of Tajik Badakhshan
province. (Alternative drives if no flight).

Day: Drive to Yamchun (Wakhan valley) visiting ruins of Qah-Qaha castle and Garm-chashma hot-springs.

Day 6: Hiking around Yamchoun. Visit Bibi-Fotima Zahro hot springs and excursion in ruins of Yamchoun Fortress (2-nd BC - 8 th AC)

Day 7: Drive to Langar / lunch /, excursion around the village well known with thousands antient and mid-age petroglyphs 

Day 8: Drive along Pamir River to Paigatala

Day 9: Drive to Jarty-Ghumbez base camp, visiting Zorkul Lake (Victoria) on the way, hot springs, pool.

Day 10: Drive to Tokhtamyshbek base camp, visiting Shakhty petrogliphs, Shor-Bulak observatory and meteorite crater on the way. Marco Polo sheep watching if available

Day 11: Drive to Murghab, afternoon stroll around

Day 12: Drive to Karakul Lake over Ak-Balyk pass (4655m), afternoon free time

Day 13: Drive to Osh over Kyzyl-art(4260m) and Taldyk (3600m) passes

Day 14: Excursion in Osh, afternoon free time

Day 15: Flight to Bishkek
