14 days trip on Pamir Highway and trek to Sarez lake over Central Pamir

Accommodations: 6 nights camping, 7 nights in local hotels guest-houses and homestays and huts

Day 1: Arrival in Dushanbe / Hotel

Day 2: Drive to Darwaz - 11-12 hours – overnight in homestay

Day 3: Drive to Khorog - 6-7 hours – overnight in homestay

Day 4: Registration in local OVIR / Drive to Yashilkul - 6-7 h / evening excursion on ruins of the Silk Route constructions and tomb of Bem-Bulat / tents

Day 5: Trek to Katta-Marjanay along right bank of the lake/ 6 h / visiting old curcles-ruins of 2500 BC and pethroglyphs on the way / overnight in tents at Katta-Marjanay river

Day 6: Trek to Kichik-Marjanay along N bank of the lake / beautiful scenery of the lake, ice-caped peaks of the mountains from the S side of the lake, christal waters and fishes of Kichik-Marjanay river / tents

Day 7: Trek to Kyrgyz-shabar (4200) - Langar valley, over Bughramol pass (4000m) / 6 hours / visiting local shepherds on the way / tents

Day 8: Trek to Lake Chap-dara (4500m) / 2 hours /excursion around the lake / overnight in tents at the lake

Day 9: Trek to Ukhinj (4200) - 5-6 h / visiting local shepherds from Bardara (Bartang valley) and lakes - Uch-kul / observe few peaks over 5900 m / tents

Day 10: Trek to Yerkht meteorological station along narrow valley / huge rocks and first trees and nice meadows at altitude 3300 m / 4-5 h / sauna in the station (if available) / overnight in the station

Day 11: move to Sarez dam by motoboat / 2 hours / excursion in the dam upon arrival / overnight in hut

Day 12: descent to Barchadif village (2650m) / 4-5 h / overnight in homestay

Day 13: One day in Barchadif / relax

Day 14: Drive to Darwaz (1400 m) / 8-9 h/ overnight in homestay

Day 15: Drive to Dushanbe (9-10 h) - end of the trip
